Taxanotes

November 2026 . Scratchpads on Drupal 11 is now becoming a reality, through volunteer work from the team of TaxaNotes human and robot developers. Successful pilots are taking place with three sites from Scratchpads Drupal 7 that have each had a Drupal 11 counterpart taxanotes pilot site created, with data, files, some major parts of the logic so far and styling migrated across. The initial migrations are like-for-like: the new pilot Drupal 11 sites closely resemble the originals to enable straightforward ongoing validation, evaluation and comparison.

If you're interested in your Scratchpads site being migrated, join us here or connect via here: https://github.com/taxanotes . This ongoing migration service is open source, volunteer-run, free and free hosting is offered, subject to large traffic fees passed on at cost, should they ever arise. "Run yourself, or with us": being open source, migrated sites can be hosted by site owners' own arrangements. In any case, support from TaxaNotes developers continues where their volunteer time allows. Others are welcome to contribute as well. This project is a long running ambition now being realised.
